At DigiRoutes – Institute of AI & Digital Marketing, we are committed to providing a practical, valuable, and positive learning experience for our students. We understand that circumstances may sometimes require a student to request cancellation or a refund.
This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which refunds may be considered for course fees and other payments made to DigiRoutes.
1. Eligibility for Refunds
A refund may be considered under the following circumstances:
a. Cancellation Before Course Commencement
Students may request cancellation before the commencement of their enrolled course or batch. Any applicable deductions, including administrative or payment processing charges, may be deducted from the refundable amount.
Refund requests made after the course or batch has commenced will be subject to the conditions mentioned in this policy.
b. Technical Issues
If a technical issue attributable to DigiRoutes prevents a student from accessing essential course content or participating in the course, we will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue.
If the issue cannot reasonably be resolved and prevents the student from accessing the course, a refund or alternative arrangement may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
c. Duplicate Payment
If a student is accidentally charged more than once for the same course or transaction, the duplicate amount may be refunded after verification of the payment.
d. Exceptional Circumstances
In exceptional circumstances, such as serious medical emergencies or other circumstances that substantially prevent a student from participating in the course, DigiRoutes may consider a refund or alternative arrangement at its discretion.
Supporting documentation may be requested where appropriate.
2. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will generally not be provided in the following situations:
a. Course Commencement or Completion
Once the course has commenced, fees may become non-refundable, subject to any specific refund terms communicated at the time of enrollment.
No refund will generally be provided after completion of the course or after certificates have been issued.
b. Course Material or Training Access
Once a student has received substantial access to course materials, recorded sessions, resources, tools, assignments, or other course content, the course fee may become non-refundable.
Where applicable, the extent of course access may be considered when reviewing a refund request.
c. Promotional Offers and Discounts
Fees paid under special promotional offers, discounted programs, coupons, scholarships, or other special pricing arrangements are generally non-refundable unless specifically stated otherwise at the time of enrollment.
d. Change of Mind
Refunds will generally not be provided solely because a student changes their mind, changes their career plans, or decides that the course is not suitable after enrollment or after accessing course resources.
e. Live Projects, Practical Training, or Internship
Once a student has started live projects, practical assignments, client-related work, internship activities, or other substantial practical components of the program, the course fee will generally be non-refundable.
f. Attendance or Personal Scheduling Issues
A refund will generally not be provided because of a student’s inability to attend classes due to personal schedules, work commitments, travel, relocation, or other personal circumstances.
Where possible, DigiRoutes may offer a batch transfer or alternative learning arrangement at its discretion.
3. Refund Request Process
Students who wish to request a refund should follow the process below:
a. Contact DigiRoutes
Send a refund request to support@digiroutes.in with the following information:
-
Full name
-
Registered mobile number
-
Email address
-
Course or program name
-
Enrollment/admission details
-
Payment details or transaction reference
-
Date of payment
-
Reason for requesting the refund
b. Review of Request
After receiving the refund request, DigiRoutes will review the request against this Refund Policy and the terms applicable to the student’s enrollment.
We may contact the student if additional information or documentation is required.
c. Refund Decision
Once the review is completed, DigiRoutes will communicate whether the refund request has been approved, partially approved, or declined.
The decision will be based on the applicable terms, the stage of the course, access to course resources, and the circumstances of the request.
4. Refund Amount
If a refund is approved, the refundable amount may be subject to the following deductions:
a. Payment Processing Charges
Any applicable payment gateway, transaction, administrative, or processing charges may be deducted from the refund amount.
b. Course Access
If the student has already accessed course content, resources, practical training, or other paid services, the amount refundable may be adjusted based on the services already provided.
c. Other Applicable Deductions
Any deductions or charges specifically communicated to the student at the time of enrollment may also apply.
5. Method of Refund
Approved refunds will generally be processed through the original payment method used for the transaction.
Depending on the original payment method and payment provider, the refund may be credited to the student’s bank account, card, UPI account, or other applicable payment source.
DigiRoutes is not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment gateways, card issuers, or other financial institutions after the refund has been initiated.
6. Course Cancellation or Rescheduling by DigiRoutes
If DigiRoutes cancels a course or batch before it begins due to circumstances within its control or other operational reasons, students may be offered one of the following options:
a. Full Refund
A full refund of the applicable course fee may be provided, subject to any non-refundable third-party charges that were clearly communicated at the time of payment.
b. Course Rescheduling
Students may choose to transfer their enrollment to another available batch or a future course date, subject to availability.
c. Alternative Arrangement
Where appropriate, DigiRoutes may offer an alternative course, batch, or learning arrangement.
The available options may depend on the circumstances of the cancellation.
7. Refund Processing Time
Once a refund has been approved, DigiRoutes will generally initiate the refund within 7–10 business days.
After the refund has been initiated, the time required for the amount to appear in the student’s account may vary depending on the payment gateway, bank, card issuer, UPI provider, or other financial institution.
8. Batch Transfer Instead of Refund
Where a refund is not applicable, DigiRoutes may, at its discretion, allow a student to transfer their enrollment to another available batch.
Batch transfers are subject to:
-
Availability of the requested batch
-
Applicable course schedule
-
Approval by DigiRoutes
-
Any specific transfer conditions communicated at the time of enrollment
A batch transfer does not automatically create an entitlement to a refund.
9. Policy Changes
DigiRoutes may update or modify this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in its courses, services, payment processes, or applicable requirements.
Any updated policy will be published on this page along with the revised Last Updated date.
The refund terms applicable to a student’s enrollment may also depend on the terms communicated at the time of enrollment or payment.
